When at SPLASH 2011, you take advantage of the extensive, and highly effective, public transportation system, including "the MAX" and the streetcars, that connect all places in Portland.

TriMet Free Rail Zone

The conference is within the TriMet Free Rail Zone which means that you can ride MAX Light Rail and Portland Streetcar within downtown Portland, the Rose Quarter and the Lloyd District for free (at any time of the day) to get to restaurants and city attractions for free.
